Your Horoscope This Week

Now that Libra season is officially here, let's give ourselves what we need most (read: a little post-Virgo season pampering). This week, Mars is back on track after a long stay out of bounds. This movement will gently guide us back into action in our work and our personal lives — how's that for a motivational boost?

On Monday, the moon is void of course from early in the morning until midnight. If you have a mile-long to-do list you've been aching to attack, it might have to wait until Tuesday. While the moon is void of course, you'll be better off sticking to only the most essential tasks. Trying to do anything more will only stress you out.

Think of working through a void of course moon like trying to run through water. Fight against the flow and you'll wear yourself out before making any progress. But, if you go with it, you’ll float free. Deepak Chopra puts it plainly: ”Don’t try to steer the river.” The next long void of course moon is on Wednesday morning until the end of the day — two of these in one week means to take things slow.

Aries
March 21 to April 19

The full moon scoots into your sign on Monday, Aries. Under these powerful beams, you'll start to wonder where you stand in your relationships — is all well or are you due for a catch up with your friend who lives across the country? While it's in your sign, the moon will be squared against Saturn, putting pressure on your career sector. If you've been planning any major moves or projects at work, you may feel uncomfortable to do so while these celestial bodies are at odds.

Put your trust in your ruling planet, Mars, this week, now that it's officially back on course after going out of bounds! You’ll finally be able to set sail on a new journey. As the famous naturalist and author John Burroughs put it, "Leap, and the net will appear." Determined Ram that you are, you'll find a way to do your thing, even in the face of difficulties.

Taurus
April 20 to May 20

If you spent the summer doing some serious soul-searching, you’ll be feeling much steadier (and way more present) on Monday, when Mars returns from being out of bounds. An earth sign like you hates dealing with uncertainty, but plumbing the depths of your subconscious allows you to grow and develop in necessary ways. Take a moment this week to pause and ask yourself: What have I learned about my inner self — and am I ready to show more of that to the rest of world?

Mars moved into your 10th house of career earlier this month, and it's been sharpening your focus at work ever since. If you’re looking for a new job, the red planet may light a fire under you to apply to the position of your dreams. Last Saturday, the sun entered your house of health and work. Keep your hardworking energy up by making time for your wellbeing.

Gemini
May 21 to June 20

Now that the sun is in Libra, the sign of the Scales of Justice, you're feeling more grounded and ready to cultivate a sense of balance in your life. Try reflecting on what Socrates says: “Be as you wish to seem.” How can you make your ideals actionable, Gemini? Don’t rush yourself to change too much or too quickly, or you’ll wear yourself out. Once you determine how you want to redistribute your energy and priorities, make those changes slowly — in baby steps, even.

This month has been particularly busy for you, so it's totally understandable if you've been hiding away at home when a moment of downtime comes your way. But you'll want to keep your calendar open and your dancing shoes nearby on Monday. Your phone will be blowing up with invites for impromptu hangs.

Cancer
June 21 to July 22

If you’ve been itching for some normality at work, rest assured it's on its way, Cancer. Monday is the day that Mars completes his reset and restores order and movement to your life. Back from out of bounds, he’s ready to offer you much steadier ground to stand on at your job.

The red planet's return to form will put you in a mood to reflect on the most recent Mars retrograde, which ended on August 27. As difficult as retrograde periods can be at the time, they usually leave us feeling stronger or smarter than before. So, what gift did this year's Mars retrograde reveal to you? Trust that it sets you apart from the rest of the world, and use it to your advantage.

Leo
July 23 to August 22

It's high time you took a break from the daily grind, Leo. As much as you love letting your skills shine at work (and that paycheque doesn't hurt, either), maintaining a sense of balance is just as important as flaunting your star power. Take breaks when you can and you'll avoid getting burnt out.

The moon will slide into your ninth house of travel and philosophy at the beginning of the week, so prepare to get some of your joie de vivre back. Even if you can't travel the world at this very moment, you can find smaller ways to broaden your horizons. For starters, put your phone down and pick up a new book. And finally try that new class or hobby you've been stewing over for months — so what if you're not an expert? This is the week to branch out.

Virgo
August 23 to September 22

Are you feeling flashy, showy, and downright flossy this week, Virgo? The stars are urging you to shine, so lean into those vibes. The Sun and Mercury are now in your money house. Together, they've teamed up to sharpen your wits and your tongue, blessing you with a gift of gab that will surely draw in your higher-ups and open the doors to a corner office.

Simply put: You’ll be able to charm your way into the hearts of anyone who crosses your path. You'll be tempted to use your powers solely for self-promotion, but remember to let others bask in your warmth, too. Your colleagues and friends won't soon forget that you gave them a boost when they needed it.

Libra
September 23 to October 22

Did anything unforgettably wild happen this summer, Libra? If you’re single, you may have some tales to tell — and those exploits will be your takeaway from Mars’ out of bounds journey. Now that your relationship planet is back on track, swipe to your heart's content — but vet your matches before you meet up.

If you’re in a relationship, you'll be happy to hear that you're in for a nice, long period of smooth sailing. Make sure that you celebrate your season in style, and avoid any cases of FOMO by accepting even the most outlandish invitations. Peace activist (and your fellow Libra) Thich Nhat Hanh said, "If you think that peace and happiness are somewhere else and you run after them, you will never arrive." In other words, pay attention to and take advantage of the opportunities in your immediate sphere.

Scorpio
October 23 to November 21

Great news, my strategic Scorpios: Mars, your planet of health and work, moves back into position on Monday, raring to sort out your personal life and well-being. It may take a bit of finagling, but you can (and will!) find a schedule that supports both your body and your mind. Take some time this week to craft an agenda that will allow you to succeed — without burning out — and tinker with it until you find your groove.

You don't have to make everything into a test of willpower, Scorp. Setting a pace that you can sustain is way more important.

Sagittarius
November 22 to December 21

The full moon on Sunday and Monday will be a double-edged sword for you, Sag. Matters of the heart could be brought to light, allowing you and your loved ones to come clean, while putting you in an emotionally taxing position, too. If it helps, feel free to save your energy and be a little more passive this week.

Fellow Sagittarius and poet Rainer Maria Rilke said, “The purpose of life is to be defeated by greater and greater things.” If a wave of feelings knocks you over, try to figure out why it hit you so hard — and resist the urge to hit back. Taking time to process your defeats can prompt a useful realisation. Mars returns from out of bounds on Monday. Soon you’ll be able to throw yourself into projects that will seriously benefit from your problem-solving expertise.

Capricorn
December 22 to January 19

Matters surrounding your home and family may have been a rather a sensitive subject recently, Capricorn. Luckily, Monday marks a time of newfound peace. Mars, your planet of home and family, has made his way back from being out of bounds. Arguments that ended in stalemates will finally come to a definitive conclusion — and you may even finalise that chore chart.

Over the weekend, your 10th house of finances and career was visited by the sun and your health and work planet, Mercury. Together, they're trying to create a chill vibe in this sector of your life (which, for the average Cap, is no small feat). Before pushing ahead on any major goals, remember to be thankful for what you have at that very moment. Then you can go after the next item on your list.

Aquarius
January 20 to February 18

Last week, your love planet, the sun, was finishing up its time in Virgo. You were ready to buckle down and fine-tune the details of your plans, but now that we’re in Libra season your attention will turn from work to romance. If you’re single, play the field, but make sure that your prospective dates are on the same page as you when it comes to expectations big and small.

If you’re attached, spend the week booking a steamy getaway for ASAP. It doesn't matter if you go somewhere nearby or far away — as long as you're with your honey, you'll the R&R you've been craving. Regardless of your relationship status, spend this week with the people who love you for exactly who you are.

Pisces
February 19 to March 20

You’ve been patient, but you haven’t been lazy, Pisces. And your willingness to work at a slow yet steady pace is about to pay off. Mars, your money planet, finally returns from out of bounds on Monday. While you’re not out of the woods yet, you’ll start heading in the right direction (finally).

If you’ve been wracking your brain trying to balance your main gig with your hobbies or side hustles, keep your cool and know that you're being put through the wringer for a reason. Saturn, the taskmaster of the Zodiac, wants you to remember this time in your life in vivid detail, from how you allocated your time to how you ultimately found your stride, so that you can avoid similar circumstances in the future and find success faster.
