Each of these limited-edition Jo Malone scents offers a different take on an English harvest: Primrose & Rye, Honey & Crocus, Poppy & Barley, Oat & Cornflower and Green Wheat & Meadowsweet.

The brand describes Primrose & Rye as: "Rolling fields dotted with primroses. Swaying softly on a spring breeze. Warmed by golden corn. Brightened with mimosa. On an addictive base of rye and vanilla. Filled with sunshine."

Honey & Crocus carries the addictive scent of almond milk, sweetened by honey and topped off with saffron and lavender.

On the making of Poppy & Barley, master perfumer Mathilde Bijaoui said: "Poppies don't have a specific scent, so I created an accord of green notes and red rose to express the colours and vivacity of the poppy fields."

Oat & Cornflower is another milky scent that marries the warmth of oats with sweet hints of hazelnut.

Head of fragrance, Céline Roux, commented on the making of Green Wheat & Meadowsweet: "This was our chance to capture fields of young wheat: they represent a new beginning, the start of spring when everything is beginning to grow."
